The main curators of the VIII Tashkent Biennale of Contemporary Art in 2018:

Juraeva Nasima-curator, art critic.
1993 – founder of the first private art gallery “Tumor” in Uzbekistan, Namangan.
2009 – 2013 – art critic, head of the exhibition department in the Central Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan;
2013- 2017 – Research Fellow “Exhibition of Culture and Art”, coordinator of the Tashkent International Biennale in 2011, 2013;
2014 – curator of the International Korean-Chinese art project “Liminal vision” in the “Exhibition of Culture and Art”
2018 – researcher, art critic of the State Art Museum of Uzbekistan.

Normurod Negmatov – curator, composer, director, writer.
February 28, 2017 – founded the first private museum of modern art “Rukhsor” in the city of Samarkand with the project “Life”.
In 2018 he created the online institute of contemporary art “Rukhsor” inside the daily process in the “Facebook” space.
2018 – chief curator of artists of Africa and the East in the international project “Artrooms – 2018” London.

Shahnoza Karimbabaeva – Director of the Biennale
Shahnoza Karimbabaeva is the founder of the gallery “Bonum Factum” (Tashkent, Uzbekistan).
In 2000 she worked as the chief specialist in the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan in the management of museums and the cultural institutions.From 2001 to 2010 – Director of the Tashkent House of Photography at the Academy of Fine Arts of Uzbekistan. 2002-2014 – Director of the Tashkent International Photobiennale. In 2007, the initiator of the International Festival of Actual Photo and Video Art. In 2008 she passed the refresher course “Management and Leadership” in the Academy of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the construction of the state and society.In 2009 she was awarded the Order of Friendship.
She participated in the organization of international photo exhibitions in Japan, Belgium, Germany, Russia, China, France, Holland, etc.She participated in the publication of photo albums “125 years of Uzbek photography”, “Samarkand”, “The history of one city-Tashkent”, “Langar”. In 2010, she founded the private gallery Bonum Factum (Art and Fact).
In 2018, she took a course at the Victoria and Albert Museum (London, UK)
